The Royal wedding cake described as "very romantic" is being given the finishing touches in a luxury cakes. but though fruitcake is traditional, there'll also be a very non-traditional royal wedding cake: Prince William has requested his favorite chocolate biscuit cake, made with rich tea cookies, chocolate and nuts, and then frozen instead of baked. Although many brides in the UK are now choosing an American-style sponge or genoise, this is a childhood favorite virtually unheard of in wedding land. Perhaps chocolate biscuits will be a new trend in groom's cakes?
